Shanghai Emerging SCI is a broad-scope bioscience journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of biological mechanisms underlying health and disease. Covering molecular and cellular biology, genetics, neuroscience, immunology, and translational medicine, the journal provides an international platform for researchers to share discoveries that bridge fundamental science and clinical applications. We welcome studies across diverse biological systems, including investigations into disease pathophysiology, novel therapeutic strategies, and interdisciplinary approaches that integrate genomics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology to drive innovation in biomedical research.

The field of bioscience plays a crucial role in understanding, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions. We are seeking submissions for a Multi-Journal Special Issue on Mental Health Enhancement in Bioscience, to be published on [someday].

We welcome submissions on all aspects of mental health equity in bioscience, with a particular interest in research that explores:

  • Neuroscientific and molecular insights into mental health disparities and what biological factors contribute to.
  • Genetic and epigenetic research focused on understanding mental health conditions across diverse populations.
  • Advancements in biomarker discovery for more equitable mental health diagnostics and personalized treatment.
  • Bridging research gaps in underrepresented mental health disorders and populations.
  • Innovations in drug development and therapeutics, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for all.

Please submit via [TBA] and select the “Mental Health Enhancement in Bioscience” Special Issue option for your paper to be considered.

Submission Deadline: [TBA]
